A room sized camera obscura is simply a large version of a camera with one magnificent difference – you can walk into a Camera Obscura. After all, what is a camera but a box of light? Our every act and expression contains a multitude of doubles and every one of them has a life of its own. It is these different ways of seeing that I am drawn too. If we took time to reflect on the world surrounding us, we would see that the world is full of holes in which life is projected through. Keyholes, pot holes, moth holes, even the mouth in which my words fall from. I get lost in the thought of all these holes and projections, the visions of the visions of the visions. There is something quite mesmerising about viewing the world upside-down and inside-out.
